The M5A78L LE seems to be a bit broader in its CPU support. It allows use of the bulldozer and the other one does not. Also, it has a realtek sound solution opposed to VIA for the other. Furthermore, the M5A78L LE can take RAM up to 2000 MHZ opposed to 1800 for the other.

Ok, the other question: m4a77td has 6 audio jacks is that better than 3??

If you have surround sound speakers that only accept analog inputs and you have a center, left, right, rear surround left, rear surround right and a sub woofer then that is the motherboard for you. If you do not plan on attaching an analog input only amplifier with 6 speakers then I would not worry about those connectors.

Lastly, your user name is M55, not M44 so I think the choice is obvious.

:) :) Thanks a lot for your advice, I wanna ask you also if 125 wat CPU is different from 140 wat? is that important?? The CPU is AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 and graphic card is Asus gtx 550ti.

((because m4a77td supports 140 Wat and the other one supports 125 wat so what is the difference?

The 140W is a C2 stepping and the 125W is a C3 stepping. If you're going to run it just like it comes out of the box then it makes no difference which one you get, BUT if you are planning on OC'ing it then go for the 124W with the C3 stepping. The C3 tends to clock higher on less voltage resulting in cooler temps. For more Performance should be very close to the same. The 125's have small improvements and should also run cooler.

Thanks very much, I see also a difference between chipsets (760G for M5a78L Le) and (770 for M4a77td)... So is that important and what is the difference ? I'm sorry for annoying you :)

The biggest difference is the 760G features integrated graphics.

However, the 760G for M5a78L Le does not actually take advantage of that feature and has no integrated graphics. To make things confusing they provide GPU drivers for the integrated graphics on this board for which they provide no connection port for.

I think you can't go wrong with any Asus motherboard... Still running my Asus P5B-Deluxe and hasn't given me one single sign of error... been overclocked for all these years. Amazing product.
