Ok, I read the readme but I don't get it. Why does it want to produce a WAV File when I play an MP3?

It doesn't produce WAV files...it's a decoder. it replaces the mp3 decoder that comes with winamp. Sound quality difference is astonishing on some songs, but then again I have my PC hooked up to my HT system and I also have a pretty decent set of headphones.

Well I have the MAD Plugin just in the "Input" Plug ins...... It should be in the "Output", right?

No mine's in input too. I also deleted the in_mp3.dll and made sure MAD was selected, then I set it to 24bit (I have an Audigy) and that was it.

Hey to get 24bit output with your Audigy, do you still have to use that DirectSound wrapper thingy? Or do the newer Audigy drivers have native 24bit support??

Well I have a Hercules Game Theater XP and just selected 32-bit and it worked. Could you also select 32-bit and let it run? Does it then mean my card has 32-bit output?
