Which APU for X570?

After having a near-death experience of my 3700X I would like to have a spare CPU for troubleshooting purpose. I was eyeing towards a 2200G processor from a local Microcenter, but I am unsure whether the new chipset supports older generation chips. Does anyone know if it works on X570? If not, what is an alternative? I prefer an APU.

The only no goes are the 1xxx series. Anything 2xxx series and up.

2200G is the most attractive one and I want to be sure that it will work with x570. It's only $60 at microcenter so I am going to pick it up and see what happens.

Shouldn't be a problem with any AM4 APU, other then BR. This link has a handy CPU support diagram:

Check the supported CPU list for your motherboard.

It seems like 2200G is not in the support list of my board. ( Gigabyte X570 Elite)
