the router is in the basement. i can run CAT5 to each of the floors, total 3 floors. each floor is about 900sqft.

what APs should i get to install into the ceilings of each floor? budget of $300 per AP.
i am hoping they can be powered over the same CAT5 so i dont have to fish for the 120v line.
should the APs be in the middle of each floor? can they all have same SSID?

I use a nwa210ax and it covers that and some more. On a good ah you can get them for $160 and other days maybe $200 on Amazon.

If you want 6E though those would run about $360 from Netgear.

I use Ubiquiti APs. I currently use the WiFi 6 Long-range, and an older UAP-AC-HD. The hardest part is finding them in stock. Microcenter carries the brand too, if you live by one.
