I used to fish for crab out of Kodiak, Alaska. I used to eat all the king crab I wanted, but a steak in town was pricey. Dungeness has better tasting meat, all the fisherman agree on this. Someday for a treat buy a 5 pound can of frozen dungeness meat, about $70.00, and go to town. You could split a can too, because that's a lot of crab.

 
I grew up eating moose. Yummy.
Salmon rocks too.
Halibut is like candy... mmmm.

Bear... not so much.
Caribou... meh.
Rabbit is good.
Ostrich was interesting.


I think I'd pick moose though. (Young ones... not the old stringy bastages)
 
Pork fat is the most tasty.
Beef has some of the best blood and tender flesh.
Crab of all kind is fantastic.

Turducken takes the cake, especially the wild variety. Very difficult hunt, much like the jackalope, a true adversary in the bush indeed.
 
Bacon makes it easy for me.

pig > cow (very close) > fish > chicken (only because I love sushi)

I watched something on TV a while back about the people of Alaska and the foods. It was very interesting the way they would stock up on the caribou/moose for the winter and make snack foods from salmon. They had another food they considered a snack....can't remember what it was called but it was some meat with fat (blubber) on it. Think it was from a seal/whale.....??

Personally I like cow and pigs. We have a lot of hog and turkey farms here in NC. Turkey is yummy too.

a friend of mine shot an elk in colorado last year and brought some of the meat back home...it was the best tasting meat i have ever eaten in my life!
 
Pork for it's overall diversity- sausage, bacon, ribs, smoked butt, ham, and loin.

That being said, I'd take a perfectly cooked ribeye or porterhouse over any single pork product.
