Which Android tablet for Game Development?

While I've been going through game development for a long time now I've never really looked or thought of having a tablet at all, nor even thought that there was much of a purpose to one in my line of work. Well all that has changed now as I'm now making internet games using WebGL. The only tablets that I know are WebGL compatible are Android tablets. We'll be making android only games at some point too.

The other features I'll require is having a decent stylus support. While I have had this Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet for a good 5 years now I'm not sure if the stylus would even work on another tablet so if the tablet comes with a stylus or not isn't important as I wouldn't mind picking up a new Wacom stylus anyway but having a nice resolution for sketching and a crisp display would be essential.

So far I've come across two that I've got a rough idea on getting but the prices vary a lot. I don't want too small a screen so 7" is the absolute minimum but then anything over 10" is too big for portability. I'm willing to spend up to £350 though would prefer to spend no more than £250.

The two which I have extensively looked at are these two:
  • Samsung Galaxy 10.1 2014 edition (really pricey but does everything I want)
  • Google Nexus 7 v2
Are there any others that are worth looking at or that any of you recommend? I have almost zero experience with the tablet market so I'm going into this blind - ease-of-use means nothing in my decisions.

A quick run down of requirements:
  • A sharp clear display
  • High resolution
  • Stylus support
  • 7-10" screen
  • WebGL compatible
  • USB OTG (or a card slot)
  • Wi-Fi only (no need for a mobile network)

You wont find anything better than the 2 you already mentioned unless you want to drop the money for an actual Dev. tablet package from Qualcomm or something.

All tablets support basic capacitive pens and its pretty basic pen support. If you want an active pen support, you'll need something with a digitizer built in and that dramatically reduces your choices, especially for Android, to pretty much the Galaxy Note series.

So Galaxy Note 10 2014 or Galaxy Note 8. Or maybe that new $750 12.2 inch Galaxy Note 12 Pro.

If I went for the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 would the S Pen give me the full pressure sensitive range or is it just pen-to-paper instead of Wacom like?

It's full Wacom. As in literally licensed/made by them.

Thanks. I get the feeling I might just have to bite the bullet on this occasion and get the Galaxy Note 10 2014. Unfortunately only the 16GB version is sold in the UK so I'll have to pick up a microSD card too.
Xperia Z Ultra could work
Sorry but I'm not looking for a smartphone, plus anything less than 7" would be counter-productive for me - I very rarely use a mobile anyway.
