My contract is up this month so for me I'm thinking HTC One or Samsung S4. But thats just me. Currently with Sprint. Cant decide which is better.

If you can't decide, I'm guessing the replaceable battery or microSD aren't critical. In which case, get the One. The better option in almost every other way: screen is slightly smaller but higher quality, low light camera and video is better, less bloat = smoother experience, 32GB standard vs 16GB with GS4, aluminum body, and front facing speakers that blow away any of the competition.

Even in daylight shooting the One is nearly as good, though obviously with lower resolution, which matters really only if you plan on doing photo prints or for some reason don't scale your pictures down on the web.

If you need a thousand random features to impress your family and friends (HTC One works as a remote, too, by the way, and quite well), a replaceable battery, or microSD, by all means the S4 is the phone to get.

Welcome to the great debate of 2013. Good part is that either way you get a great phone that should get a lot of third party development.

Very true. Supposedly I cant go wrong with either. Crono gave me some food for thought and his suggestion sounds good. I wish I could buy both... hmmm... get the wife one and me the other? Anyway I'm just sitting back and watching the different debates and reviews at this point.
