I got in on the recent deal: profile baja 200 watt 10" subs for 15 bucks a pop. So I bought 2 of them to stick in my car. Now what type of amplified should I get?? I want a cheap solution, but something that will power the subs with enough juice..........I asked the CC guy and he said I should get a mono sub amp. I already have sub preamp outs on my blaupunkt receiver. Also another question while I am on the topic, I have 2 pioneer 6x9 speakers listed here that put out 60watts RMS and 2 pioneer 6.5 speakers listed here tht put out 50watts RMS. I just switched all 4 of these speakers out with my old stock speakers, no AMP or anything. However, they start distorting when I get real loud, my friend tells me it would make a HUGE difference if I got an amp for these. What type of amp or amps do I need for these speakers??? I have a Blaupunkt Austin as my HU listed here. Remeber I want this to be a somewhat budget system.........

since you purchased them for 15 bucks each, you'll need about a 30watt amp rms to push em

Naw this amp current runs both of my 12inch SUBS great

I mean for the cost this setup is killer. I also willing to work out a lower price with you.

Dont be too concerned with ohms cause you are just getting a buget system not a 5grand setup

:)

Don't be concerned with ohms?!?!?! Uh...running too high of resistance (low ohms) WILL cause most prosumer amps to fry.

speakers don't put out power, amps and (the amps inside of) headunits do.
