which amex card?

so yea - all of a sudden i get three offers from amex.

1 - blue (no annual fees)
2 - regular green card (first year's fee waived)
3 - gold business card (dont really have a business yet - not sure how they got my name)

gold looks nice, but i'm not in it for the cosmetic look. which is better and why?
 
If you travel a lot, green or gold. A friend who's been attending trade shows for over a decade says you really do get better service (from hotels, etc. and from amex itself vs. visa/mc) with a "real" amex card, which the blue card isn't.

From what he says, the blue card is just another CC like visa/mc/discover without the reputation or travel services. I never travel on business so I can't verify this myself.

If you just need a CC and want the 1% cashback (5% if you're foolish enough to carry a balance) then blue.
