Ditto.

1700+ at 41$ is difficult to beat, most people can run it at above 2400+ speeds, with good mobo and RAM.
On the other hand, Barton 2500+ has double L2 cache, and a reasonable overclocking potential, it should probably achieve similar or higher speeds than the 1700+

Follow your heart, personally I'd get the Barton.😎

P.S. You can't go wrong either way.
