Which AMD CPU are you going to use w/ your new KT133A Boards?

For those of us switching over to AMD for the first time and also buying a new CPU w/ these sweet mobo's(or have existing AMD CPUs, which CPU are you going with and what do you hope to o'clock it to? I'm leaning towards the 1ghz T-Bird but if the prices come down on the 1.2ghz T-birds in the next few weeks that I'm waiting for some reviews on the new KT133A boards, I'll go with that one.

All of the current athlon (duron, classic, and t-birds) will be able to upgrade to the 133 fsb with the multiplyer tweak..

CPU Speed = fsb x clock mult.

So if the old multiplyer was 7 with a fsb of 100 you'd have 700 mhz...

Or you could do a 133 fsb with a multiplyer of 5.25.

It's not the cpu that can't adjust to higher fsb's it's the chipset.

I think I would like to get the 133mhz bus athlon chip.. even though I know you don't necessarily need the 133mhz chip to do 133mhz. I think there has to be a legit reason for them to make 133mhz chips..

Nope, the only thing different is they set the CPU's at the FAB to run at a 133mhz bus instead of 100mhz...no difference between the actual CPU's. They will just charge you more... They could always run at 133, but the chipsets before the KT133A could not handle it..

so they just set up the multiplier different so that the board will be able to detect and run at 133mhz automatically? If so that is pretty much what I was thinking too. However how do we know that they will in fact charge more for that minor little adjustment? since I haven't seen any for sale yet I would think it would be too soon to say they would charge a premium price.
