Hey everybody, my question is I am looking to get a new motherboard for my pc and new ram. I am currently using a Gigibyte SLI S-5 board with Kingston 667mhz (2gigs) ram. I have had nothing but problems with this board, so I am looking into a new one. I don't OC much so I don't need a heavy duty OCing board. I want something stable that I can plug my cpu (6000x2) a PCI sound card, and an 8800gts into. What are my best choices for stability and medium OC ability in m-ATX and ATX form? I am running Vista 64bit. Also to go with the new board what new ram should I get?
Also a little off topic but as far as I can tell AMD's 4x-cores will be compatible with AM2 socket, is that correct? And also does anyone know of new board types above the 590sli version for AMD socket AM2s coming out anytime soon, because if so I could wait until they are released before I get a new one. Thanks and I appreciate any help you guys/girls can give me!
