I'm looking for a decent pair of airbuds for listening to movies in airports (and maybe on planes - but planes are usually too loud). I want to use them with a pc so they can't have too much resistance (no amp). Not really sure what's out there. These seems to be recommended but sounds kind of weird:

The Marshmellow;s are nice, but Westone UM1's are better, but a bit more expensive.

You might want to check these out ~$5. a set. If you need a pic of the box, LMK and I'll scan it out of the paper:

I'm going to try to grab a pair at Big Lots today.

I second the Creative EP630. I personally own the Marshmallows, and since I'm coming from Grado SR-60s (nothing too revolutionary, but still great for the $$), the marshmallows sounded... pretty crappy, I must say. Even compared to the Koss KSC-75, they sounded bad.

EP630s have a great balance between compactness, sound quality, and isolation. You can usually find them for around $30. If you don't want the isolation, I would definitely go order some Koss KSC75s for anywhere between $10-$25 (depending on where you look; RadioShack and Amazon are the most popular vendors). They sound much better, but are larger and don't isolate at all.

I've got a pair of the Bose IE TriPort buds, and I love them. Only Bose product I like, and they are pretty awesome. Very comfortable for long plane rides (I used them for ~10 hours straight on a flight to Sydney a few weeks ago and they were great) and not too expensive at around $100 US.
