Remember standard AGP operate at 66Mhz .... With a divider of 2/3

So if you run your FSB at 100Mhz ... then 2/3 of 100 = 66.667Mhz AGP speed

And if you run your FSB @ 133Mhz ... then 2/3 of 133 = 88.667Mhz AGP speed

The MAX I was able to run my Geforce3 is at 100Mhz (that is 2/3 of 150Mhz FSB = 100Mhz AGP speed. I tried all combinations above 100Mhz AGP speed = 3DMark 2001 dies.

I'm sure there's a card that could run over 100Mhz AGP speed.

I have heard of several GeForce 2s that could do 100MHz AGP....traditionally the GeForce family have had the greatest success at very high AGP speeds.

There was someone in the motherboard forum yesterday running a GeForce on a P3B-F using 150MHz FSB/100MHz AGP stably.

Make sure that you disable fast writes and sidebanding....you can usually reach further with these off.

My Kyro 2 doesn't like anything over 35. Or so I think, its between Kyro2 and 8k7a not likeing it over 35 MHz.

I had my Geforce 1 DRR up to 100Mhz so I would say there is a good chance that a Geforce 3 will do better.

I take it your are on a BX platform if you are running that high. I have since gone to AMD and even at 150FSB my AGP is only 75Mhz (1/2 AGP divider).

Wtf are you talking about? Are you thinking of the PCI bus or something? That statement you made is just...well, stupid and rather confusing- like the kinda confusion where you're like, "Wtf kinda crack is this guy on?" ;) hehe :)

Anyway, if a motherboard officially supports the 133MHz FSB, then it has a 1/2 AGP divider. So, KT133A, AMD 760 (and 761), Ali Magik (the DDR one from them), SIS735...umm...yeah, I can't think of any more AMD based chipsets that officially support the 133MHz FSB.
