Hi I'm hoping for suggestions on what network adapter to use with the D-Link DCM-202 High-Speed DOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modem. I am purchasing this modem this week but I am a bit overwhelmed by all the choices available in a network adapter card. I'm guessing that for compatibility it would be best to continue to go D-link all the way around (adapters/router etc).

Can anyone give some tips or advice/guidance on what things to look for in an adapter card?

Thanks!

It won't matter. D-Link isn't necessary, it's all TCP/IP. Pick up whatever is cheapest.

most any 10/100 card would work. I like Intel the best, but they are a bit more spendy.

I just always look for the ones that don't require a cd, pnp will pick it up automatically. ( I for get the type but there is one out there, as i recall i think it's based on the chipset on the nic.

I just bought that exact modem yesterday. Should be at my house today for me to test out.
