Which Abit IDE drivers?

I was told that upgrading my BE6 IDE drivers might allow me to use DMA with my Plextor burner since it doesn't work now with DMA on.

There's two drivers (lol from 1998 and 1997). The 1998 one is something about HighPoint XStore Pro. Then the one below that just says for Intel Chipsets. Not sure which one to use. Thanks

I assume that your m/board has a BX chipset which is fully supported by win98. I'm not sure you will be any futher along with trying to solve your DMA problem by updating the chipset drivers. if you're totally commited then look here for your updated chipset drivers!

The only ones I found at the Intel site was for win95 which I guess I understand since you said win98 fully supported the BX chipset. It's just weird that there was a thread with everyone saying their Plextor burners working fine with DMA but mine doesn't even show up when it's on.

Any ideas? I'm gonna give new IDE drivers a shot at least
