I looked at various boards and narrowed my choice on these nvidia boards and setup.
a) MSI K8N Neo with A64 , 3200+ with 1mb cache since this chipset supports dual ddr so can I use Corsair 3200 1GBas I heard with amd boards its good to have the right memory for a stable system.

b) Asus K8N-E Deluxe with the same setup as above . I have always used Asus for my pc so far heard of too many problems with Msi are they getting better for AMD .

Is P43.0 with Asus P4C800DLX comparable to the above system for gaming, encoding as I might OC or not. Has anyone has any of the above systems right know either P4 or A64 and wants to share their results.

Thanks

Depending on your overclock intel should be faster for encoding and amd will be faster for gaming. I have the k8n and have had problems with my corsair memory (partialy corsairs fault as chips were bought at different times and even though they have same model number they are different), but board overclocks quite nicely (currently running at mutl of 9, ht of 3, fsb of 270 for 2.4ghz total, at 43c at full load (prime 95 + folding at home), though i do have beafy air cooling. Asus will probably be a better board, but it is at least a month away, so question is, is it worth the wait?
