Which 955x motherboard to choose?

Hello everyone,

Which 955x motherboard would you base your system on and why? I am leaning towards the Asus P5WD2 but don't see the point why they put a second PCI-E slot on it for a GFX card when it's not SLI certified and no one would really use it for such purposes when an Nvidia chipset SLI certied 2x16X PCI-E slot board is availble. They could of just put one more normal PCI-E 1x slot and included 1394b.

I need the board to maintain strong stability at an FSB of 300MHz or slightly higher (i.e. no fluctuation due to components overheating around the CPU socket). It must allow steady CPU speeds of around 4.2-4.3GHz.
