I have a AMD dual core 4200 and need a mobo. I don't play games, will not use SLI, and no overclocking. Do light video and photo editing but no games. In about 2 years I plan on building a new machine spending about $1000. This one will be eventually used as an office machine. I'm not sure I shouldn't save about $100 on video card getting on-board video. Because I capture video I need on board firewire and most of the mobo thant have firewire are SLI. The questions, is their a good reason to get one of the below mobo rather than the Asus with the on-board video? With the exception of the Asus SLI, they all only have 2 PCI slots so no advantage there. Any opions would be appreciated.

I vote for the asus w/onboard gfx. All the rest of the boards are overclockers boards. Way overkill. That asus is solid and unless you need 3 pci slots, more than enough to accomodate all your peripherals. There are non-sli boards w/firewire, but they are more expensive than the asus mentioned, so no reason to look at them. Really no reason to get anything else.
Hope this helped... welcome to the forums!:D

I would vote for the ASUS as well. Another choice might be the Biostar Tforce boards although the 939 version is sold out at the moment. If you aren't using this as a home theater/media PC and are mainly doing office apps and video editing either of these should be fine. Since you don't play games save yourself some $$$ and go with onboard graphics.
