#1 Leadtek WinFast PX7800GT TDH VIVO, PCI-e 256MB SLi DVI

or

#2 Gigabyte nVidia 7800GT 256Mb VIVO NX78T256V-B PCI-E

Both cost the same.

Ok cool. Thanks everyone. Appreciate your help.

Would really like to find out, why Leadtek? I don't have anything against either brand actually.

Leadtek has been a card manufacturing partner for nVidia for a very long time, longer than nearly all the other brands IIRC.

They are known for making excellent quality cards, often with better than average cooling (though not in the case of the 7800GT).

They also have a good 3 yr. warranty, even if it's not lifetime.

evga and bfg are the cheapest right now....evga has rebate at both the egg and ZZF. Evga.com has a cardpool additional $25 off and $25 in evga bucks, that puts it around $300.

Dell S&B has the bfg with a $30 rebate. if you can find the 25% off S&B coupon or buy one, you can get the BFG for around $290 AR before tax.

Both of those have lifetime warranties and is going to be cheaper than leadtek, unless you found a sweet place that has leadtek cheaper?

my vote would be for one of those.

I've had nothing short of sweetness with my three LeadTek cards. LeadTek > *
