I have a JVC KDSX990 in my 97 Sebring Convertible, it has
RMS 19x4
Peak 50x4

I am looking for buy 2 pairs of 6x9" which my car needs.
And i hope to get it from Circuit City. I checked their website and found some of this speakers:

Kenwood KFC6969IE

Alpine SPS690A

Pioneer TSA6970R

Polk EX369

Infinity Reference 9603I

I am considering the Alpine Type-S, are they any good? I want the best bang for my bucks!

I donot need bass as i have 2 10" subs. I need clarity and loudness and very little distortion. And i am using my HU to power them, unless i have to buy an amp!

I wish to spend $100 for each pair. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Go audition each one of them. You should also check out Polk GXR69 or something like that. They're cheaper and I've installed both the 5.5" and the 6.5" on seperate occassions and have been more then happy with their sound, as have the people I installed them for.
