i want to buy a 6800gs card and it seems i gotta choose between these two manufacterers: MSI or Leadtek

Leadtek WinFast PX6800 GS TDH
http://www.leadtek.com.tw/eng/3d_graphi...ation.asp?pronameid=230&lineid=1&act=2

MSI NX6800GS-TD256E
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/vga/vga/pro_vga_detail.php?UID=705

the specs seem about the same...do you guys have an opinion which of the two will be the better card? maybe one is more quiet, durable or any good/bad experiences with these brands graphics cards?

thanks for any pointers so i can choose :)

[*] Both use a reference design w/ default clock speeds
[*] Both have a 3yr warranty
[*] Software bundles are different

Flip a coin :)

Get the eVGA 6800gs. Here

It's cheaper (especially since Newegg is having a sale on it.

You don't get any extra software with it..but the software in the other packages is crap, and adds almost 20 bucks to the price...whereas if you really wanted the software you could just download it.

eVGA has the best reputation with Nvidia graphics cards out of the three as well.

My order would be this:

I'd take the eVGA if it were cheaper, but otherwise, between the two choices in the OP, I'd choose the Leadtek.

yeah...but im in taiwan...and it sounds strange but you cant buy it here yet....maybe next week and probably only the msi and leadtek...pretty shabby huh? newegg doesnt ship internationally and i think shipping to taiwan would not be cheap anyway.

i thought maybe u guys had any experience with the cooler on those brands...heard some good things about leadtek cooling but never read anything about msi gfx stuff.

leadtek propreitery cooling are good, but since both of those cards use nvidia stock cooling there's no difference. if it was me, i would take whichever offers the best software bundle
