I haven't been able to track down a comparison between these two brands:
eVGA
Albatron
Anyone know which is the better choice? I'm not interested in the peripherals, though a free Far Cry never hurt anyone, and the price is identical.

I'm also wondering if my PSU is sufficient. I have an Antec 350W, running a p4 1.6 GHz (OC'ed to 2.4 :D), one 7200 RPM hard drive, a DVD-ROM and a CD-RW. My current vid card runs at all of 4W (GF2 MX), so this will be quite a jump, but I'm not familiar enough with power requirements to know one way or the other. Any help is greatly appreciated - thanks!

lol @ newegg's "sale" of $3 off.

350 should be enough (as long as it's not a cheap one), but if you start having problems - get a 430 or 465. I have an Enermax 465 pushing my BFG 6800 GT, everything you see in my sig, and 2 HDs.

as for which one is better - compare their warranties (assuming you're not overclocking and voiding the warranty).

i've heard good things about eVGA, and not enough about Albatron to form an opinion.

and you're right - a free FarCry with the eVGA isn't bad. :)

Thanks for the input guys! Sounds like eVGA is good enough for me. Went for the one bundled with Doom3, since that's what I wanted to play anyway. :)

They are pretty much the exact same card. :p The differences are in the software bundle and warranty.
