which 4850 card to buy

which card has the better performance/reputation:

MSI R4850-512M OC Radeon HD 4850 512MB - $75
ASUS EAH4850 TOP/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 4850 -$89

the ASUS has a higher core clock and memory clock, but does that compute to real everday performance advantage?

I say go with the cheaper one msi. The little overclock of the asus would make little real world difference. Wow those things are cheap right now. Get a pair and crossfire and you've got a pretty good gamer.

Get the MSI, no need to pick and choose between vendors.

Pick the cheapest one, once you OC most of the speed differences go away.
