I just got a KG7 from FS/FT forums and I'm about to set it up, I just have to know which 4 in 1's to install. Are they all the same? I remember that they used to be, when I'de get drivers for my Asus A7V the Kt133 4 in 1's would be the same as the kt133a.
At the VIA website you can pick which chipset, but you can't pick AMD 761 and I know that I have a VIA 686 southbridge.
Thanks.

If I remember correctly, you would choose the IRQ, INF, and IDE Via drivers, and use the AMD miniport AGP driver.

Any version of the 4in1s is fine.

761 setup:

1) install OS
2) install VIA 4in1s except for the AGP drivers
3) AMD Inf
4) AMD AGP drivers

That's the procedure for Win9x, for Win2k you'll want to install the OS SPs first, then the 4in1s...etc. For WinXP you don't need to install any of those, unless you are having some kind of issue., but so far I've used the default WinXP drivers issue free on my K7 Master.

If you plan to use Windows XP, dont install them at all, it as it's own drivers and they have been fine for me (Abit KG7 like you).
