Which one would you rather have? Which one is better at games?

The leg up on you he has is the Video Card. Thats it.

You have 2x his memory, a better processor, and a PCI-E slot to upgrade your video card with.
 
His is better for gaming just because he has a better video card. If you had the same card yours is better hands down.
