I was thinking of getting a 30 inch display, I am tired of nickle and diming used monitors and I want an LCD, a big one. Would Apple Cinematic be the top of the line or is there something better in that weight class? Thanks.

Your only two real options are Dell and Apple. Buy whichever one you think has the prettier case.

Westinghouse 37" 1920x1080
or the Sceptre 37"

I also think the Westy 47" is out now for $2499 at Crutchfield.

IMO, don't ya think a 30in. is too big (for a monitor). Your kinda getting in TV space there. Why not go for the Dell 2405fpw?

NEVER TOO BIG!!!!

Nah I run a 37" as my desktop monitor and I could probably handle the 42" .

It's very important to know what use you will have for it. If it's gaming, then a low response time is a must.

That is very true, not to mention the expensive video card habit you will have to develop to keep the FPS at a reasonable level.

You wouldn't have a issue playing on Dell 3007FPW as long as you have the graphic card to run the game at the high res ;( you would need something like crossfire
