Which 2gb RAM kit to get?

I am getting a new computer (already ordered), but still need to find some RAM. Basically, I want to be able to OC some, and have it be good for games. Some other specs of the computer are:

x2 4400+
Asus A8N Sli
EVGA 7900GT

The RAM kits I'm currently looking at are these:

OCZ PC4000 Platinum Edition - $204 AR
OCZ PC4000 Gold Gamer eXtreme XTC - $164 AR

I have been recommended the GX kit before, but I'm coming here today to ask if the platinum edition kit is worth the extra $40. I see that it has better timings, but how much better is it in reality? Will it provide more overclocking headroom?

I'm open to other suggestions as well. Thanks.
