Which 20" monitor>>>Viewsonic or Acer?

Im thinking of getting a bigger monitor for gaming but also for watching movies at my computer. I'll keep my 17" sony sdm-hs75p, but am interested in either the viewsonic VX2025wm or the ACER Al2051W. The acer has a shiny surface screen which i like on my sony monitor. Based on Viewsonics dead pixel policy I think I had better go for the viewsonic. It's also a bit cheaper in the UK where i am at ebuyer.com. I know we get robbed over here compared to you guys in the states. Does anyone have the viewsonic? I read that monitor has some issues with light leakage around the sides, but its been said its only noticeable when you are viewing a VERY dary screen. Please help. thanks,

Also own and second the viewsonic VX2025wm. I have it and love it.

It takes a littlebit of adjusting to get it right (it comes WAYYY to bright) but turn down the gamma a bit in CP and up the digital vibrance (after adjusting brightness/contrast on monitor) and then your set.

I see no ghosting at all.
What else do you want to know???

glossy screens are cool though, but the king of the glossy screens IMO is the NEC...its spunktastic

thats a wicked little round up right there. Asus looks nice, loving the way you can adjust the bastard, its a PVA panel though..... that good or bad? IPS is better isnt it?
