which 1st, dvd or burner?

this is probably an old question, on ide 1 i have a 27 gig as master, 40 gig as slave. i'm installing the pioneer 106S along with my yamaha
16/10/40. which setup is the best? dvd mas/burner/sl or burner mas/ dvd sl? let the games begin,,,,terry

I would make the burner the Master and the 106S the Slave. I have a 106S as Slave to a LS-120 drive and it has no problems that way. The CD Burner is more sensitive to data flow, so I would make it first.

Personally, I would never use an internal burner. Firewire or SCSI external . . . the best way to fly!
