Which 1GB Flash-Based MP3 Player?

My 4G iPod crapped out on me recently (on roughly day 5 of a 30-day Europe tour, which wasn't the best time), and I'm looking for something new. I plan to hold out for the next gen iPod (hoping it actually comes out around Christmas), and in the interim I'd like a 1GB flash-based player in the $50-$75 range that I can use for working out.

Browsing Amazon, it seems like my options are the Sandisk Sansa M240 and the Creative Zen Nano Plus.

They seem almost identical spec-wise, and both are of similar size. I assume the sound quality is the same as well? Any reason to choose one over the other?

Any other options I should consider?

Off the top of my head, Creative's sound quality is likely to be better, but will be more proprietary (though I believe the Nano Plus is UMS-compliant). Not sure if the Sansa has .ogg support or anything, or if you even need it.

Nano Plus, though, is an old favorite. That would probably be my pick.
