I want to build RAID on my mobo-ABIT IP35,but which 160G harddrive is suitable for RAID?And which 160G harddrive is faster, except Raptor

I like the Seagate 7200.10 series, but anything mainstream should be fine (Maxtor, Western Digital, Samsung, Hitachi, *maybe* those new Excelstors). Just stay away from "Magnetic Data Technology" and other strange-sounding generics. As for the Raptors, a lot of people, myself included, feel they are far too overpriced to be worthwhile in anything but the highest-end systems. Also, I do not recommend RAID 0, as it significantly increases the likelihood of catastrophic data loss. RAID 1 is the way to go.
