Case is a corsair 500R..... ive got a couple coolermaster 120mm to go with the stock fans and I think im going to get a Bitfenix BFF-LPRO-20025W-RP 200mm to replace the corsair side 200mm fan.

My question is which of the following 140mm fans would you use/recommend as a top exhaust x2 ?

Thermalright TY 140
Thermalright X Silent
Scythe SM1425SL12M Kazemaru 2

I put that Spectre Pro in the front of my 650D, it's amazing. Careful at 12V though the thing is fast and noisy but pushes soooooo much air my god.

As for the 140mm, I'd go with a Noctua NF-P14 FLX but I spend a lot on my fans 🙂

This doesn't make them bad fans. They move a lot of air and are relatively quiet.

I've had Scythe Slip Stream sleeve bearing fans in my current rig for 4 years now without any issues at all.

Good point, I have a few Scythe PWM sleeve bearing fans that are great. I've just become a Noctua fanboy.

Ahhh lsv, FalcX... Now I know where I revognise you two from 🙂

I've resolved myself to staying away from 140mm fans and just going for solid 120mm fans. There's not enough information or relevant, objective information available on 140mm fans for me to go out and buy some.

BTW: I'll be removing my H100 on Wednesday for an RMA and I'm going to measure up my 500R for one of the Bitfenix Spectre Pro 230mm fans. From what I've seen, they may have mounting holes which might match up with the mounts on the side panel.
