Hi,

Do you have a recommandation for a triple 1 gb set (3 gig in total) which i can increase to 6 gb later (using all the slots on the p6t deluxe) or should i bite the dust and go for triple 2gb immediately?

Give us some information about your current software and how you use your PC.
That will allow us to give you more than generic suggestions.

Hi Blain,

the systemsoft = vista 64
graphic: cs4 photoshop, premiere pro and after effects
use: some video edit (cuda is supported by cs4) and recent games @1900X1200

I agree with Blain. If you are already running Vista 64 and you are upgrading to an i7 rig, go for the 6GB if your budget can stand it.

get the cheapest, slowest, worst latency 3x2GB pack you can find... the extra "speed" of ram is insignificant in terms of overall performance, but the AMOUNT of ram makes a huge difference.
