Yea, I can't get out that damn stain. If you don't clean the insides of your toilet on a weekly basis then the dirt sinks into the pores of the toilet. From what I've heard it's impossible to get out the stain.

My landlord is gonna kill me.

Nah... I'm not a metro. I'm just a guy who likes to live clean. I swear I might have OC, because it takes me 6-8 hours to clean this apartment. When I clean I literally pull everything out to dust it. I can't stand dust.

No, it makes girls want to come over more.

BTW, get a bleaching toilet tank tablet thingie and the toilet stain should be gone in a month or so.

I have a bleaching tablet in allready. It's been in for a couple of weeks so hopefully this does the job.

Girls.. I wish. Working 40 hours per week doing midnight security and going to college full time kills any thought of a social life.

I only have 3 summer classes and one more semester, so hopefully the sacrifice will be worth it.

Two things:

1) You should your desk up against the wall. Lots of unused space.

2) Maybe you should look into aluminum faceplates? Coolermaster makes some good ones for about $7 each.

Otherwise, the place looks good! hahahaha...I think I had that same futon model long ago.

1) I live by myself so the space issue is really a non-issue.

2) Yea I was thinking about changing the faceplates but I don't move my PC much so this also is a non-issue.

3) I've had this futon for 3 years now. I was thinking about getting a real bed but I'll wait until I graduate from college. Anyway, I like the ability to turn my futon into a couch.

:D

dude, if you need to ask a forum full of geeks whether or not you're gay, then you have serious issues.

Hehe.. I knew this would come up. I would put the center speaker on my monitor but it's an LCD not a CRT. So that?s not good. My only other option is to put it on my desk, but it's quite cluttered. My cable modem, 2 front speakers, rechargeable mouse base and LCD monitor all take up valuable desk space. I just don't have the room.

The same could be said for the bass. It's off to the side because I just don't have the space. I've had it under my desk before but I was always banging the damn thing with my foot.

Pour a bottle of bleach into your toilet bowl and let it sit overnight and you'll be money.

The best thing I have found to get out toilet bowl rings is CLR. My home has the old-style 6-gallon/flush toilet upstairs, and after living in the house for 4 years or so, I decided to clean the inside. It was dirty before we bought the house, and 4 more years of water and mineral stains had made the inside of the bowl a dark brown that no cleaning agent could touch (and I tried several).

I got the best results when I bailed most of the water out of the bowl, poured a good helping of straight CLR into the little water remaining, and went to work with one of those stiff-bristled scrubbing brushes. It took 2 or 3 applications, but in the end the nasty, brown bowl turned out to look as clean as it must have been when it was new.

Just make sure you have good ventilation when you use this stuff.

This stupid girl I know used CLR to attempt to remove the dye from her forehead that was left there after a bad dye-job at the hands of one of her stupid friends.

She whined that her forehead was "hot" and that it "burned."

Sani-Flush. The blue crystals. Put in - leave sit overnight. The bubbly action will clean the stain right out of the bowl. In the morning, scrub vigorously with brush, flush twice, pearly white!! CLR does work well too. Post :camera: once you get that thing clean! :D

Thanks all. I'll try that CLR next week.

CLR is great stuff for bathroom cleaning. hard water deposits don't come off with much else.

What on earth made her think that CLR would be ok for this? I suppose she's lucky that she didn't get any in her eyes, or she would have been complaining about alot more than a burning sensation on her head. Was this just a one-time, stupid mistake that she made, or is this type of behavior common for her?
