Whew.... Good timing.....

So im home at my parents house (300 miles from home) for the weekend and im sitting using their computer, when i hear a strange rattling noise from the computer.... I ignore it for a few mins, then it starts up again, only louder.... Hmmm, so while its on, i turn the computer 45 degrees to the left, pop off the side, and no less than 30 seconds later, their CPU fan grinds to a halt 🙂

Quickly switched off the power and replaced the fan.

But wow, talk about lucky timing.....

Haha, actually when i moved out about a year ago, i couldnt take everything with me to my new apartment so i had to leave some old computer supplies home. So unfortunately, im not as nerdy as you would have hoped 😀

I do have a trusty computer toolkit, but no ECRK unfortunately. And no, this was not a lie.

heh.. "impressed" was maybe not the most accurate choice of words. now I'm relieved. 😛

and.. changing the subject a little.. my sister's family and my extended family and a whole boatload of their friends and associates are gonna be walking (lighting the night) on the 23rd in southwestern virginia for same cause.. my brother in law is fighting peripheral t-cell lymphoma. so.. your fiance has my spiritual support, as well as my thanks. (but my check is goin' to virginia)
