I dropped a PC on my foot while carrying it through a hall here at work. My foot hurt for about three months afterward but not where I couldn't walk or that it impacted my life or anything. I was more grateful I didn't break the PC. :)

I remember working with a guy in 2001 who dropped TWO Cisco 6509 switches. :Q They were on a fork lift and he didn't strap them down. Each had 2 supe modules and 2 48 port blades. Lost a supe to that crash.

An HP 4550 Color Laserjet weighs in at 125lbs without paper.

Ha! I had a co-worker intentionally kick a Bay C1600 and a Cisco 6513 out of a rack. I caught the 6513 before it tipped very far over and crashed (he only had maybe 15 degrees of tilt before I started righting it), but only because I was coming to investigate the crash of the 1600 hitting the floor. The 6513 had a couple 48 port 10/100 blades, and two 16 port GigE blades.

Some homocides are not only justifiable... but commendable.

My second week on the job I dropped a server. I thought everything was ok, but later found out that it screwed up the CD-rom drive, somehow. Cheap fix, though.
