This may be a stupid question, but where can I find the serial number on my motherboard? I have a Biostar M7NCD Pro that has a $15 rebate, that requires you to fill out a serial number, but I can't seem to find it. Could it be that it's on the back side of the motherboard (the side that's on the bottom when it's installed)? I've already installed it, and don't fell like taking it apart. Is there another way of looking up the serial number via bios? Please help! :(

First check and see if it happens to be on a label on the outside of the mobo's box (Asus puts a copy of it there, not sure about Biostar). If it isn't there, it might be on a sticker on top of the parallel-port block (again, Asus sticks one on there) or on a sticker stuck to the bottom side of the bottom PCI slot. Hope that helps you track it down :)

most biostar boards have the SN on a label attached to the top of the parallel port

there is a sticker with some random numbers, and letters on top of the parellel port, so I'm guessing that's it. Thanks for the help guys! :)
