Browsed every site I normally order from (both in the UK and USA), newegg is the only site that lists them (197usd), but they're out of stock...what gives? 😕

I got tired of waiting on this, c1's that actually overclock well, Granite Bay mobos to actually arrive and be worth what they actually deliver, and so on....

I spent most of my vegas winnnings on buying my new golf supplies....200 for a driver, 150 for a fairway driver, 125 for a nike golf bag, and 50 for a putter...


I guess I will be waiting to upgrade for awhile, which I was sorta starting to suspect....

I also guess maybe I am actually starting to enjoy using my pc instead of always having it in a state of tear down ocing and tweaking. I am going to through it in my 4g4a+ and call it good for awhile.
 
I know whatcha mean Duvie, the wait kinda sux. And I feel exactly the same way about tying your system up....I'm thinking about using my older bits and building a second machine so I can get back to work, and that way I can't still play with new stuff...😉
 
I only have one and my extra parts usually have been sold at same time I bought new ones!!!!

Stuff I am actually doing now...

1)ripping and making divx movies

2)capturing tons from TV source and camcorders...editing them... and making professional looking dvds...satellite TV coming tomorrow!!!!

3)Working on my 3d CADD designs

4) Flight Simulator 2002!!!!


I have to say it is nice to have this Intel machine and the reliability...other then tweaking ati catalyst drivers it has been problem free and I do what I want when I want....No offense to AMD but for 1-1/2 I didn't have that with my amd systems. I know it was likely more due to via chipsets I had, but I blame them cause they don't make their own chipset instead of trusting their livelihood in a company who actually produces a competing cpu product....IDIOTS!!!
 
lol! Yeah, stability has always been very important to me too. I've never messed with AMD stuff other than my mate's rigs, and I know whatcha mean...You must be a master at that divx stuff, you've been doing it for a long time. I'm still very interested in it...🙂

Stuff I PLAN to work on when things settle down:

1) Playing with divx

2) Work on my web site

3) Get back into VC++ and VB.net

4) Get back into 3D rendering and animation

I've got so much money wrapped up in software for this stuff, I need to get to work!!! 😀
