Where's the Cheapest XMAS lights?

Any of you guys know where to get the cheapest christmas lights. Taking in account length * price * quality?

Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Home Depot .... ?

Skoorb and I went to Walmart yesterday and were amazed at the cheap prices! We bought away....and our place looks fantastic!

100 bulbs....29 feet....less than $1.50 but I cannot remember the exact price!

They were the cheapest that we found.

I'll be the contrarian here Don't buy the cheapest, by the most energy efficient/longest lasting. One company now has LED christmas lights on the market, I think each set cost us abotu $7.50. But they will last MUCH longer (you probably won't be buying lights again for 8-10 years) and they save substantial energy (e.g. save you electricity costs). In most cases the power savings will make up for the cost in the first season (first 2 months of use). The LED lights draw about 80% less power. This company seems to have them in a number of stores now ForeverBright.

Also, LEDS produce almost no heat, so they are much safer on live trees (etc).

They were outdoor!

We have always found Walmart lights to last the longest actually...maybe it is just our luck!
