Where's the best place to sell books online?

I'm selling all my old college textbooks on Amazon (I've already sold one!) and it's okay, but I'm wondering if there's a place that's better. Specifically, it seems like the Amazon marketplace is a little disorganized. However, I really like how your account is credited immediately, so there's no dealing with eBay-like scams.

Any college students/casual book sellers use a better service than the Amazon Marketplace?

EDIT: also, what's the best way to ship books? I was lazy and didn't feel like using my own packaging so I printed an online Priority Mail label (free delivery confirmation!!), but I asked the dude at the counter at the PO and he said that Media Mail is about a buck cheaper, but I'd have to use my own packaging. For a small time seller, is Priority Mail with DC the best option?

Im getting together with my business savy friends to create a textbook/book trading website. almost exactly like half.com except it would be targeted towards students. that makes advertising a little easier.

Im not exactly sure how i would promote the website. i am also trying to make it better than half.com and amazon marketplace.

do you ATOTers have any ideas on what you'd like to see with a website like this? should money be taken care of like the way half.com is done? or should it be like ebay where people have to figure it out themselves?

Defintely, DEFINITELY do it the way Half.com and Amazon do it. I will NEVER EVER sell or buy anything on eBay because of their payment conventions. It makes me too nervous - all it takes is one bad apple to ruin the buying and selling experience for everyone.
