where's the best place to get audio cables??

I need a nice long cable with 2 x RCA 1/8" male plugs on one end and 2x 1/4" plugs on the other. I need it to be like 30-40 feet at least.... but the only places I can find one online, it's like 15 feet max.. does anyone know of cable speciality shop or something?? please help!

May have to make your own, or contact a shop and see if they can make one.
If it were me I would call KnuKonceptz or Stinger and see if they would make one but
a) There car audio and may not do it and
b) It may cost you and arm and a leg. (Relative to the fact its just a peice of wire)

Don't expect to be able to use 30 - 40 feet of shielded single conductor cable without some audio degradation. The capacitance may eat the high end.

I found some 20 footers. for $8.88. but you'll need to adapt at one end.
I say solder them up yourself to length.

BetterCables or Bluejeancables are pretty great. Although that is just specialty. If you want more than just your 15ft, you might want to invest in Canare tools and make your own canare cables w/ their ends.

hi, you make no sense. rca and 1/8" and 1/4" dont make sense. do you want rca? 1/8" mono or stereo? or 1/4" mono or stereo?

You know, I didn't read it clearly the first time through, but you're right.
RCA and 1/8 in and 1/4 in are all different connectors. and the mono/ stereo question is there as well.

What are you trying to connect together.

okay, what I meant... I want to connect my Vestax 275 mixer to my creative audigy 2 front panel thing so I can record my sets in mp3 on the fly..... on the back of the vestax though, there is only one RCA stereo double port, and one big 3/4" port then as well... and one of those has to go to my speakers first, so I need a long cable I can plug into the back of my vestax (3/4") to the front of my audigy 2 platinum (RCA 1/8" stereo I think).

I found 25' and 50' cables at my local electronics parts store. They were <$10 too.
