Was wondering how conditions on 405-N are right now..
I was heading home on 405-S about an hour ago and about 8 miles from my exit I saw a bunch of ambulances, firetrucks and police cars blocking up several lanes of traffic on the opposite side of the road. The police officers seemed to be asking people in cars too..I didn't see anything that devastating, except for a car being put on a tow truck.
As I drove then up until my exit, traffic was literally stopped all the way and probably way beyond. It was definitely one of the worst jams I've ever seen, and having lived in LA for the past year now just a few miles from the #1 and #4 worst spots in the country, that is definitely saying a lot..
Edit: here it is.. http://www.sigalert.com/map.asp?Region=Greater+Los+Angeles
Looks like it's all cleared up now..
