Where's that 9800?

Been looking for so long 🙁 Anyone know where I can get my hands on a "made by ATI" Radeon 9800 Pro? In the United States that is. Or does anyone know the next ship date? At this rate, I may just wait for the NV35/R400 battle.

I've had mine on order at a esite for over a month now. first expected delivery was 1-2 days, then went to 2-3, then back down to 3-5 days when it got close to those 3 weeks, then back up to 2+ weeks.

their excuse? distributor says can't get it in... blah I say. oh well, at least I'm saving my $300+ for a little while.

I bought one at a local BB for 399+tax, rather than waiting for 399 w/ no tax or such on the web, since they never seemed to be in stock at major stores online.

Saw about 8 for sale at the BB in Danvers, MA.
Just trying to decide if it's worth the $100.00 over the 9700 or wait?

More importantly, where is that 9800 Pro AIW? Its suppost to be $450, and considering the 9700 AIW is still at $400.... that $50 difference isn't all that much in comparison to the benefits...

Don't know if it'd be worth it for you, but I had a visiontek GF3, so it definitely was for me.
