:frown:

Why can't they make a new one? It's been 17 years since the original movie came out and almost 6 years since the series ended. Sex And The City ended up a year later and it's got its movie with a sequel in the works to boot. Are we gonna have to wait as long as Mission Impossible, The Avengers and Lost In Space?:|

Gimme some big screen Buffy Anne Summers!!! I wants my Precious!

I've got good news and bad news.

Good news: http://www.darkhorse.com/Comic...pire-Slayer-Season-8-1

Bad news - probably no buffy movie: http://scifiwire.com/2009/02/j...in-the-woods-scoop.php

Finally, the subject of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, based on the TV series, came up again, with Whedon, as usual, nixing the prospect. "Nobody has ever broached the subject from the studio side," he said. "I think everybody's busy working, and so I think that it probably won't happen, is my guess. The landscape changes constantly, but until somebody who has billions and billions of dollars asks me that question, the answer's pretty much the same."

Aw crap. I was hoping for a David Lynch movie starring SMG.:brokenheart: Maybe he can recast her in a Desert Hearts remake. :D

At least a sequel to Dr. Horrible is planned.
