Hey guys, new to the forum and wanted to get your opinion on something. After reading the good reports people were giving about the NEC 3500a burner I decided to get an external one for my birthday. So it came today in a conspicuous enclosure box with no indication it was the NEC burner, I look at the instruction manual and its actually a Pioneer DVR-108. Now I love Pioneer stuff especially car audio and understand its the same chipset of a 3500a anyway, so do I just keep it and be happy or do I bitch to the place I got it from and get them to send me the NEC drive? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Have them replace, it's not the item you ordered.

Agreed. While it probably is worthwhile to debate "should I get a 3500a over a 108" thats irrelevant. You didn't get what you ordered, make them send you what you wanted.
