Where's Java in windows XP?

Hi, there are couple of apps on the net that I need Java Virtual machine to run, but the problem is I can't find where I'm suppose to download it. I remember with win98 and internet explorer 6.0, there would be an option on the update page to download it. But now it says that microsoft has removed it. I don't know where it has gone. Do any of you out there know where I can find it? THanks.

go to Sun's Java Site and download the latest JRE from them. Microsoft removed their JVM from their site so you'll need to use the Sun one. Works just as well too.
