Anybody went to Iwill web sites frequently? I though about last month or two month ago when i saw their website they said they offer dual AMD mb solution based on MPX. But now i can't find anything about it. Anybody notice it?

:)

I'm loving my Tiger MPX, eventhough I wouldn't mind if I had the one with functional USB ports. My USB card is already full and the onboard connections are useless. Tyan really expects me to use another USB card for more ports? I think everyone should e able to RMA their boards for the updated version with functional usb.

The Iwill board will probably be stable and what's with the whole PCI-X thing?

I evaluated Iwill as a new motherboard line, and had numerous failures, enough to the point where we politely sent the sample back. *I* wouldn't use an Iwill mainboard.

YMMV

Iwill has faded do to their alliance with ALi... but from the 10+ Iwill boards ive used over the years, none had poor reliability.. NONE. Not even the XP333 i used about a month ago had poor reliability. Hell, i remember when Iwill was THE motherboard for OC'ing because they were so stable. Maybe ive always gotten lucky, but i doubt it.

Yes, you were very lucky.

The eval board JonnyGURU used for his review on Systemlgic.net died, and 2 out of the other 4 boards we were sent to eval had failures/issues.

Like I said.. *I* wouldn't use them, you indeed have been lucky.

Huh. My KK266-R has been nothing but problems. And when I tried to RMA it, they completely ignored my repeated email. Finally after calling them, they said they wouldn't RMA it because they didn't have any in stock! Yeah, great company.

My KK266-R has been happy, though I did do an RMA. First one wouldn't hold time, would lose minutes a day, second one did the same, reinstalled Windows at some point and that went away...so it wasn't the board, just a fluke.

But the RMA process when I did it was easy enough. They were slow on the email, so I called instead and had things ready in five minutes. Cross shipped the boards, no problem.

Their MPX2 looks nice, if I were a fan of dual CPU solutions I may be tempted. Dang...
