i havent had a land line in 9 years, no problems

+1 Why do you need a land line if you have a cell? If you need to call international or something you would be using Skype anyways.

Agreed. I haven't had a landline since 2003 myself. No need to pay the cell phone and the landline bill, especially when the only calls to the land line are going to be telemarketers.
