Has anyone been there? On one of my dollar bills I noticed someone defaced it by stamping: Enter the serial # @ www.wheresgeorge.com. So I did it had been last entered into the DB from Mass. Pretty cool site.

I don't carry much cash, so signed up and am entering the cash I currently have in my wallet.

one of my friends is really into it.

he works on the weekends delivering pizza, so he'll stamp all the singles he gets and enter the serial #'s into his laptop in the car. pretty sad 😛

I've used it before in the past, to really be effective you need to stamp them, a stamp isn't something I'm going to spend money on

Yeah, I was entering all my bills in there for a while.. but kinda lost interest.. lol

same here... it's kinda one of those novelties that wears off quick.
i am surprised someone hasn't come down on the WheresGeorge.com owner for defacing US currency.

From the FAQ:

#8 Is it legal to write on or mark currency?
Where's George? does not encourage the defacement of U.S. Currency. The law defines 'illegal' defacement as defacement that renders bills unfit to be re-issued. For the legal details from the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, please Click Here
